Connett Upped To MD At 93.3 Jake FM/OKC
• Tyler Media Country KJKE (93.3 Jake FM)/Oklahoma City has named Josh Connett as its new Music Director.
Connett, who currently does 7-midnight, succeeds Owen Pickard, who will continue his role as co-host of the Wake With Jake morning show and focus additional time on his television program, The Spotlight.
“First, I want to thank Owen for the work he’s done as Music Director and for everything he brings to Jake FM,” said PD Kevin Christopher. “This move will allow Owen to spend more time doing what he does best on the Wake With Jake Show and continue growing The Spotlight. We’re fortunate to have him as part of our team, and I appreciate his commitment to the station.”
Commenting on Connett’s elevation, Christopher said, “Josh has a great understanding of Country music and what makes a station like Jake FM connect with listeners. We’re excited to have him take on this role and help shape the music our audience hears every day. I’m looking forward to what he’ll bring to the station.”
Pickard added, “I’m thrilled for Josh in his new role with Jake FM! Everyone will quickly see what we love about his infectious energy and passion for our brand!”
