Streetz 94.5/Atlanta Launches ‘Nicks At Night’

• Core Radio Group’s Streetz 94.5/Atlanta welcomes market veteran Joshua “J-Nicks” Nicks as the host of Nicks at Nite, weeknights from 6-10pm, launching Monday, Nov. 9.

J-Nicks built his career at the former WFUN (Q95.5)/St. Louis before moving to Atlanta, where he made his mark at Radio One’s WHTA (Hot 107.9) with his “Durtty Boyz” brand. During 19 years with Radio One Atlanta, Nicks did nights and afternoon drive, while also reaching national audiences as a host of BET’s Rap City.

“Adding a familiar name like J-Nicks to our roster just makes sense,” said Streetz 94.5 PD Solo. “Atlanta knows his voice, his energy and his love for this city. Nicks at Nite gives us a chance to build on that connection and give listeners something to look forward to.”

“J-Nicks understands the power of local radio and the importance of earning the community’s trust,” said Steve Hegwood, President & CEO of Core Radio Group. “He brings experience, credibility and a passion for the culture. Nicks at Nite strengthens our lineup and reflects our confidence in the future of Streetz 94.5.”
