Nate Bell Exits Radio One Detroit
RAMP has confirmed that Nate Bell has exited as OM/PD of Radio One Detroit — Urban WGPR (Hot 107.5), Urban AC WDMK (105.9 Kiss FM), News/Talk WCHB-AM and Inspirational WPZR (Praise 102.7).
Bell had arrived in the Motor City in February 2015, transferring from Radio One Raleigh, where he was OM of the cluster and PD of Urban AC WFXK (Foxy 107.1/104.3) and Urban WQOK (K97.5). His extensive major market programming resume includes WMIB/Miami, WWPR (Power 105.1)/New York, WKKV/Milwaukee and a previous stop in Detroit at WDTJ. He also served as Director of Urban Programming for iHeartMedia New Orleans, OM/RVPP for iHeartMedia St. Louis and Director of Urban Programming/RVPP for iHeartMedia Memphis.
• Radio One is now seeking a new OM for the Detroit market. In the interim, Radio One St. Louis OM Boogie D will add Detroit oversight to his to-do list. Interested candidates for the Detroit OM position are invited to apply online via the Urban One Careers site.
