New Roads For Jimmy Holt

• After nearly two decades with Cumulus Country WIVK/Knoxville, longtime morning show Executive Producer Jimmy Holt announced his impending departure to pursue other opportunities. Holt spent 18 years as the producer for Andy & Alison and The Morning Crew until July, when Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer retired and were replaced by Tony & Kris.

In a Facebook post, Holt said, “Today marks my 18th year at WIVK. Sadly, it will be my last. I have decided to pursue other interests and my final day will be Nov 10th. Thank YOU for listening to my shenanigans over the years. East TN, you have been my family. I gave my all for WIVK, but as a great broadcaster once said, ‘It’s time.’ Thank you to Andy & Alison for believing in me and I wish the best for Tony & Kris. Wherever God leads me, I’m following!”

• WIVK PD Nikki Thomas tells RAMP, “We will definitely be searching for a new Executive Producer for the Tony & Kris show upon his departure.”
