Bev Brannigan: CRB President’s Honoree

The Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. announced Beverlee Brannigan as the 2021 recipient of the CRB President’s Award. Brannigan is a longtime member of the CRB Board and executive committee, and currently serves as an officer of the organization. Brannigan, a 2012 inductee into the Country Radio Hall of Fame will be honored during the Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards Ceremony October 13 at The Westin in Nashville.

The CRB President’s Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the marketing, production, growth, and development of the Country Radio Seminar and the multiple services that Country Radio Broadcasters provide to the country radio and music communities. Previous CRB President’s Award recipients include Sarah Trahern, Mike Dungan, Charlie Morgan, Bob Kingsley, Joe Galante, Erica Farber, and others.

Beverlee Brannigan’s lengthy career includes stints with SummitMedia, Scripps, Journal Broadcast Group and others across a wide spectrum of experiences — from on-air, programming and GM to corporate roles. She currently helps air personalities and content creators connect with their audiences through confident and effective storytelling.

CRB/CRS Board President, Kurt Johnson, commented, “Few people have impacted CRB, CRS, and Country music at the level of Beverlee Branigan. As a highly successful radio professional she has produced great local radio and helped develop the careers of countless country stars. As an officer of the board of directors she brings wisdom, insight, creativity and conscience to all our dealings at CRB. In short, our entire format is much stronger thanks to Beverlee’s talent and commitment.”

The Class of 2021 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductees will also be honored at the event: off-air honorees include Bob Call, RJ Curtis, Bill Hagy, and Norm Schrutt. The on-air honorees are Heather Froglear, Buzz Jackson, Bob Pickett, and Angie Ward. A special presentation honoring this year’s CRB Artist Career Achievement Award will also be recognized at the event.

Individual tickets and tables are now available for the 2021 Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards ceremony for $150 per person, and are available for purchase online.
