UJA To Honor Pittman, Bressler, Sykes, Poleman
• iHeartMedia executives Bob Pittman, Rich Bressler, John Sykes and Tom Poleman have been named “Music Visionaries of the Year” by the UJA Federation of New York. The four gentlemen will be honored for their outstanding professional and philanthropic achievements at the annual Music Visionary of the Year Award Luncheon on June 11 in New York City.
“Bob, Rich, John and Tom are true powerhouses who are reshaping the entertainment industry through ingenuity and innovation,” said Daniel Glass, President & Founder of Glassnote Entertainment Group and Vice Chair of UJA’s Entertainment, Media & Communications Division. “While devoted to redefining the way millions of people consume music, they are equally committed to social responsibility and improving millions of lives — and it’s why they’re so deserving of this honor.”
One of the most recognized industry events for nearly 20 years, the Music Visionary Luncheon attracts more than 600 of the most respected and well-regarded executives and an A-list roster of talent. Funds raised at the event are shared across various UJA efforts, ranging from its Music for Youth initiative, which enables and supports quality children’s music education programming, to its annual campaign, which supports the most vulnerable in our community.
