Executive Action: Karis & Johnston

Susan Karis has come home to radio, hired by Hubbard Radio Phoenix as VP of Sales. Karis (left) was most recently Group Publisher of Cities West Publications, but she’s best known for her years as Market Manager and Regional Manager for iHeartMedia Phoenix. Market Manager Trip Reeb commented, “Having someone of Susan’s stature and background join our cluster and company is an incredible opportunity. I look forward to the continued success Hubbard has enjoyed since coming to Phoenix.”

Karis, who starts in January, commented, “Every once in a while an opportunity comes along that you just know is right, and joining Hubbard Radio Phoenix is one of them. I’m excited to return to radio with Trip and his team and to become part of Hubbard Radio.”

Beasley Media Group Las Vegas has hired Karolyn Johnston as General Sales Manager. Johnston is a market vet who previously held senior sales and NTR roles in Las Vegas, Seattle and Atlanta before her return to Vegas. Beasley Las Vegas Director of Sales Mark Sturcken said, “I’ve had the pleasure working alongside Karolyn years ago.
