Labor Day Weekend Activities

• Cumulus Country WNSH (NASH FM 94.7)/New York is throwing its first-ever Boots on the Boardwalk end-of-summer bash today. This FREE event will be held this afternoon from 4-7pm ET at Jenkinson’s Pavilion in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ and feature live performances by Scotty McCreery, A Thousand Horses, NASH Next 2016 winner Todd O’Neill and Elizabeth Lyons. Fans will have the chance to win VIP experiences, meet all of the artists and enjoy a great close to the summer this Labor Day weekend!

• Beasley Classic Rock WCSX/Detroit and the Big Jim’s House Morning Show will kick off the Big Jim’s House “Million Penny Roof Sit” this morning at the 2017 Ford Arts, Beats & Eats Festival in Royal Oak, MI.

The Million Penny Roof Sit starts today at 6am as the show broadcasts live and encourage listeners to come out and donate. WCSX live broadcasts will continue throughout the day and over the long holiday weekend in support of Arts, Beats & Eats and the Big Jim’s House Million Penny Roof Sit. WCSX is hoping to raise at least $10,000 to benefit Holy Cross Children’s Services, which for the past 65 years has been dedicated to improving the lives of the children in their care that have suffered from abuse and neglect. “We are excited to be working with Holy Cross Children’s Services to raise money for kids in need,” said Big Jim. “The kids receiving care from Holy Cross deserve to have opportunities to be successful in life, and every penny can help.”
