• Atlantic Records’ own Rita Ora barnstormed the Dallas radio circuit on Wednesday; making stops at The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, iHeartMedia’s KHKS (106.1 Kiss FM), CBS Radio’s KVIL (AMP 103.7) and Cumulus Media’s KLIF (Hot 93.3) to perform her new single, “Your Song.”

With a scheduled promotional visit to Houston having to be postponed due to Hurricane Harvey, Ora wanted to lend her hand to help the community while in the state of Texas. Ora joined KHKS personalities Billy The Kidd and Kellie Rasberry at Trusted World Donation Center in North Dallas, helping to pack boxes for those affected by the storms in Houston. You can help too by visiting trustedworld.org. If you are in the DFW area, drop-off hours are 9 am to 7 pm daily.

• Meruelo Media’s KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles has launched “Power Cares,” a campaign to raise money for the Houston Food Bank. The goal is to raise $106,000, which will provide over 300,000 meals for displaced Houston residents. And yes, 100% of the donations will be given to the Houston Food Bank. Please make a donation and/or share on your social media accounts.

United Stations has updated the home page on the company’s main website as well as the websites for hardDrive Radio and Nights with Alice Cooper to provide numerous links for ways to aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey. You will find numerous resources posted for donating funds for food, blood and ‎animal rescue along with other links for general information. Thank you.

• This weekend, Hubbard Radio’s WARH (106.5 The Arch)/St. Louis and the Spencer’s Neighborhood morning show will be hosting a “Diaper Drive” campaign for Hurricane Harvey Relief. Spencer’s Neighborhood will be broadcasting live from the West Oak Dierbergs in Creve Coeur, MO this morning from 6-9am and again on Sunday from noon-2pm.

Dierbergs has kindly offered to match donations up to at least the first 5,000 diapers donated. SHIPT has also made a generous monetary donation to help Spencer’s Neighborhood and The Arch deliver the diaper donations to Texas. Next Tuesday, Sept. 5, Arch afternoon jock Robert Fithen will climb into a semi-truck and ride along down to Texas to personally deliver the diapers to relief agencies and organizations.
