Opportunities Abound In Tulsa
• Congrats are in order for Aly Presser (left), morning co-host on Scripps Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-Hits)/Tulsa, who has put in her notice and will be leaving the state at the end of this week — RAMP has confirmed with Katie Kruz, PD of iHeartMedia Top 40 WZEE (Z104)/Madison, WI that Presser has been hired as the station’s new APD/afternoon drive personality. She will succeed Aaron Rogers, who left in December. Stand by for the official press release!
Ms. Presser joined K-Hits to do nights in January 2016, seguing from KSYN (Kissin 92.5)/Joplin, MO. Eight months later she was elevated to morning show co-host, and the rest is history. Steve Hunter, OM of Scripps Tulsa, said, “We appreciate everything Aly has done for us and wish her the best in her career!” That being said, Mr. Hunter is now in search for Presser’s successor to become the next half of Chubbs & ____ In The Morning, teaming up the charming and personable Jacob “Chubbs” Day.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience, preferably in mornings and have proven ratings success in a small to large market. You must also come equipped with an in-depth knowledge of the Top 40 format and know blogging, Facebook, Instagram and other digital platforms. You should also have a proven track record of working well with the sales department down the hall.
