Rare Morning Opening, WOKK/Meridian

• Mississippi Broadcasters’ heritage Country WOKK (97OKK)/Meridian, MS is facing the challenge of a significant change coming to its longstanding morning show, as 20-year wake-up star Ken “The Kenman” Stokes was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and announced his retirement. His co-host Cara Shirley also announced she’s moving on to an opportunity outside of radio.

All that being said, PD Todd Berry is now actively looking to fill this rare opening. Tired of syndication pushing you out? Miss live-and-local morning radio the way it should be? Ready to take the chair? Can you build upon an incredible foundation set in stone for more than a generation? If so, 97OKK is looking for talent like yours!
