Ballard Upped To SVP At Nettwerk

Nettwerk Music Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Ballard to SVP of Promotion and Streaming Strategy. In his newly expanded role, Ballard will lead a newly unified team called the Digital Commerce & Promotion Department, which will be tasked with developing strategies to optimize opportunities at Digital Service Providers while continuing to promote a growing Nettwerk roster to radio.

Ballard joined Nettwerk’s Promotion Department 14 years ago after a five-year run with Capitol Records. In his most recent role as SVP of National Promotion, Ballard built relationships across a variety radio formats for a multitude of Nettwerk artists, including Passenger, Guster, Mallrat, SYML, Family Of The YearAngus & Julia Stone, Boy & Bear and John Butler Trio.

In making the announcement of Ballard’s upgrade, Simon Mortimer-Lamb, Nettwerk’s President, commented, “In recognition of ever-changing strategies to building awareness and fan engagement for our artists, it was a clear choice to leverage Jeff’s deep skills in promotion and artist brand positioning in order to bolster our strong sales and commerce team.
