Concord Acquires Hitco Assets

• Concord has acquired certain assets of Hitco Entertainment, including (with limited exclusions) its entire sound recording catalog and certain recent releases from the leading hip-hop and contemporary-focused record label. The catalog includes releases a collection of artists that include SAINt JHN, Big Boi, Dinah Jane from Fifth Harmony, Jennifer Lopez, Yella Beezy, TikTok phenom Dixie D’Amelio and Rubi Rose.

Founded in 2018 by industry veteran L.A. Reid and entrepreneur Charles Goldstuck, Hitco is the resurrection of an imprint originally started by Reid in 1996. The pair quickly signed a combination of established and promising new artists, resulting in a string of successes for Big Boi‘s “All Night,” Yella Beezy‘s “That’s On Me” and “Bacc At It Again (ft. Quavo and Gucci Mane)” and Dixie D’Amelio‘s “Be Happy.” Soon after, Guyanese American rapper and singer SAINt JHN‘s “Roses-Imanbek Remix” crossed the 3x Platinum RIAA threshold, topping 1.7 billion streams on Spotify.
