Sure, the recent MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby were exciting and all, but neither one could possibly hold a candle to the drama and majesty of the 10th annual Columbia Records Summer Softball Showdown™ held last Thursday in New York’s Central Park. It was a day of fierce inter-departmental competition, and despite the 95-degree temps and 90% humidity, the Columbia Records Promotion team battled through three games and emerged victorious over the Marketing Department, winning their first championship in dramatic walk-off fashion.

Afterwards, Columbia EVP/GM Joel Klaiman presented the sweaty staff and MVP Tony Wallace (Southeast Regional Urban Promotion Manager) with this magnificent trophy.
