Entercom Launches Musical ‘Couch Tour’
• Entercom announced the launch of “RADIO.COM Live: And the Beat Goes On,” a new 24/7 channel on RADIO.COM. The channel launched on Tuesday, March 24 and will stream and broadcast live epic events for 30 straight days, including new and never-before-seen archived performances from some of the biggest artists in the world on the RADIO.COM app and website, YouTube and Twitter.
“As we practice social distancing, music fans everywhere can stay connected with ‘RADIO.COM Live: And the Beat Goes On’ for live, exclusive performances right in their homes,” said Pam Russo, SVP/GM of RADIO.COM. “We have opened up our archives from a variety of genres and also partnered with new artists to bring fans some of our biggest shows all in one place. We hope everyone enjoys a nightly couch tour with us.”
The channel’s debut schedule looks like this — March 25: 9pm ET/6pm PT: Grouplove HD Radio Sound Space; March 26: 9pm ET/6pm PT: Glass Animals HD Radio Sound Space; March 27: 9pm ET/6pm PT: NEW: lovelytheband; 11pm-1am: NEW: DJ sets from Jeremiah Red and friends; March 28: 11pm-1am ET/8-10pm PT: NEW: DJ sets from Jeremiah Red and friends.
“RADIO.COM Live: And the Beat Goes On” is currently streaming performances from Alice Merton; Almost Acoustic Christmas performances from Beck, Cold War Kids, The Head and The Heart, Jimmy Eat World and Young the Giant; Bad Religion; Bastille; Bring Me the Horizon; Cage The Elephant; Coldplay; Green Day; Local Natives; Machine Gun Kelly & Yungblud; Of Monsters and Men; Pennywise; Shaed; Silversun Pickups; The Lumineers; Twenty One Pilots and Yelawolf.
