Miami’s New ‘Quarantine Radio 97.3’

• Given the new reality of a world under siege from the coronavirus and the explosion of a “Work From Home” model, radio stations are quickly adapting to this new paradigm. While many companies currently have their personalities stationed at home, working from the kitchen table or something similar, others have begun to extend their reach.

To that end, Cox Media Group Miami, under the direction of Director of Operations Jill Strada, has aggressively moved to embrace the new normal with the midnight rebranding of Top 40 WFLC (HITS 97.3) to Quarantine Radio 97.3.

Complete details are forthcoming, but we understand this reimagining goes far beyond just a new logo — the entire staff will employ multiple sources — digital, social, and on-air, to connect and more fully engage with their far-flung audience as they go about their daily quarantined lives — all without leaving the comfort and safety of your own home… and favorite sweats. Stay tuned for more info!!
