Ryder Is A Writer

Over the course of her lengthy radio career, veteran personality Turi Ryder has compiled an impressive resume of legendary Rock and Talk call letters, including WLS/Chicago, KFRC and K101/San Francisco, KFI and KIIS-FM/Los Angeles, KIRO/Seattle, KGW/Portland and KSTP/Minneapolis, to name a few. And thanks to her ability to draw upon these sometimes colorful experiences, Ms. Ryder recently completed was she describes as “a fictionalized radio memoir,” lovingly titled, She Said What?

We are pleased to report that She Said What? has been submitted — and accepted — for publication in 2018 by a small but mighty Chicago publisher, Tortoise Books. As Ms. Ryder told us, “Anyone who recognizes him or herself in the book will be told he/she is imagining things.
