Cypin Migrates To Buffalo
Entercom Top 40 WKSE (Kiss 98.5)/Buffalo, NY has filled its rare MD/afternoon drive vacancy with the talents of industry vet Greg Cypin. In a memo to the staff, OM/PD Sue O’Neil said, “Greg will oversee the winning music selection on KISS and will become part of the on-air family that makes up the ‘most-listened-to’ radio station in Buffalo.” She added, “I’m thrilled to bring someone with his skill level to the already talented staff at Buffalo’s No. 1 Hit Music Station.”
Cypin packs his car and heads east from scenic Boise, ID, where he has been doing afternoons at Townsquare Media Country KAWO (Wow 104.3). His previous stops include Alpha Media Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, Sonoma Media Group Top 40 KHTH (Hot 101.7)/Santa Rosa, CA, All Pro AC KATY (101.3 The Mix)/Riverside, CA, KSFM/Sacramento and stint in the Digital Department at CBS Radio’s KNX/Los Angeles.
O’Neil added, “In addition to his on-air abilities and knowledge of music, Greg has an extensive background in web editing, social media and production.” Cypin starts on March 27 and succeeds Jud Heussler, who was recently named PD of Curtis Media Group Top 40 WWPL-WPLW (96.9 & 102.5 Pulse FM)/Raleigh, NC.
