Darren Pfeffer Named President, DPS

Diversified Production Services (DPS) announced that longtime radio and major event executive Darren Pfeffer has joined the company as President, effective immediately. The news was delivered by DPS’s Dave Meyers in a partner memo, obtained by RAMP.

Meyers noted, “Many of you have worked with Darren in the past and know how well-suited he is for this role. Most recently EVP, MSG Live, at Madison Square Garden Entertainment, Darren led his division to growth in profitability, market share, and bookings, even as he guided them through the pandemic that upended our entire industry. Darren was also SVP, Music & Entertainment Marketing at iHeartMedia, where he spent more than 20 years leading the development of its entertainment business.”

Meyers, formerly co-CEO, concurrently announced that he is transitioning into a Senior Advisor role at DPS, and founding partner Johanna “Hans” Polleman will be retiring.

In conclusion, Meyers said, “Moving forward, these changes will be seamless for our clients, partners, and vendors. Darren is already working with other DPS leaders, including Carly Vaknin and Chris Covin, to build on our team’s success while bringing our partners even more opportunities to differentiate themselves through world-class live entertainment experiences. We’re proud of the team we’ve built, we’re proud of the work we’ve done, and we’re proud to have developed your trust in us.”
