Erickson Upgraded At Three CMG Affiliates

• Cox Media Group (CMG) announced a shift in Erick Erickson‘s daypart for three CMG affiliates — Erickson has taken over the noon-3pm ET shift at CMG’s WOKV/Jacksonville and WHIO/Dayton, OH, and he assumes the 11am-2pm CT timeslot at KRMG/Tulsa, OK. Erickson, whose show originates from CMG’s WSB/Atlanta and is syndicated via Compass Media Networks, was already airing during early evenings on the aforementioned stations.

“We’re excited to transition Erick to prime dayparts in these key markets,” said Rob Babin, EVP for CMG Radio. “He has a proven track record of delivering compelling content and ratings and will continue to captivate new audiences across CMG markets.”

Chris Eagan, CMG Radio’s SVP of Audience & Programming, added, “We’re committed to providing our listeners with the best radio experience possible, and we believe these changes will enhance our programming lineup. Erick has earned a deep and loyal following everywhere he’s been, and we know that will continue as he expands to new markets.”
