Davis Comes Home To Curtis Media Raleigh

• Heather Davis is coming home to Curtis Media Group Raleigh, this time as the newly named APD/MD and midday personality at heritage Country WQDR.

Ms. Davis (left) is currently doing middays at Cumulus Country WKDF/Nashville, but the move to Raleigh is literally a homecoming — she went to high school in Raleigh and attended NC State, Best of all, she’s already well acquainted with the layout of the Curtis Raleigh broadcast complex, having previously worked at pretty much every station in the building, according to WQDR PD Mike Biddle, who commented, “I’m really excited to have Heather back with us! She quickly rose to the top of our list during this search. It’s been fun to see how much she’s grown professionally over the years and it will be great to have her back to put that experience to work for QDR.”

Earlier in her radio career Davis worked at WRHT, WRNS, WERO & WXQR/Morehead City-New Bern-Jacksonville, NC and WGNA/Albany, NY. She will officially be back in the Curtis Media Raleigh building on October 8.
