Gadea Named PD of La Preciosa

Jose Gadea as the new Program Director for iHeartMedia’s La Preciosa Network. In addition to overseeing the programming for all network affiliates, Gadea will be based in Fresno, CA and also run the daily operations at the network’s flagship station, KFSO (La Preciosa 92.9). Other La Preciosa affiliates are located in Monterey-Salinas, Bakersfield, Riverside and Santa Barbara, CA, San Antonio and Sioux City, IA, to name a few.

Gadea previously served as the Program Director for Uniradio, where he played a key role in managing a five-station market. His prior programming stops include Univision, Emmis, Border Media and Heftel. “Jose is the ideal leader for the La Preciosa Network,” said Jeff Negrete, Area President for iHeartMedia Central California and GM of La Preciosa Network. “He is strategic, a perpetual student of our business and has displayed expertise in the communities he has worked, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Fresno. Under Jose’s leadership, La Preciosa will be strengthened with the best programming and content available. He is a winner.”
