Granato Joins Renda Ft. Myers

Granato SteveSteve Granato has joined Renda Broadcasting as PD of the company’s four-station group in Ft. Myers-Naples-Marco Island, FL — WWGR (Gator Country 101.9), Adult Hits WJGO (102.9 BOB FM), Hot AC WSGL (Mix 104.7) and FM Talk WGUF. Granato was most recently SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Youngstown, OH cluster and PD of Top 40 WAKZ (Kiss 95.9) and AC WMXY (Mix 98.9). He was also a longtime air talent on iHeartMedia’s WWSW (3WS)/Pittsburgh and he programmed WLZT/Columbus, OH in the early ‘2000s.

The move marks a return to the Renda family for Granato, who was OM of Renda’s WSHH/Pittsburgh in the early ’90s. “It’s great to be back with Renda Broadcasting,” Granato said. “I’m looking forward to providing a great product to the listeners of Southwest Florida.”
