• iHeartMedia still has a rare SVP of Programming opportunity in the Insurance Capital of the World — Hartford, CT. We understand Dave Symonds is stepping down from the position but will remain with the company.
The five-station Hartford cluster includes legendary brands like Country WWYZ, Classic Hits WHCN, Top 40 WKSS (Kiss 95.7), as well as Sports WUCS (97.9 ESPN) — complete with UConn play-by-play — and News-Talk WPOP.
Responsibilities also include oversight of the company’s stations in nearby New Haven, CT — Top 40 WKCI (KC101), News Talk WELI and Sports-Talk WAVZ. The position will also include on-air duties and the possibility for broader regional programming responsibilities.
