Moving Day At Kiss Cincy

matthews-bo-2015iHeartMedia Top 40 WKFS (Kiss 107)/Cincinnati underwent a bunch of changes late last week — the ball got rolling with the news that Kiss PD/afternoon personality Tom Deelo has exited. Bo Matthews, SVP of Programming for the iHeartMedia Markets Group in Cincinnati and Dayton (left) has now absorbed Kiss PD duties and announced several other personnel moves, leading off with the installation of the Premiere-syndicated Brooke and Jubal morning show. “I’m thrilled with the sound of new show,” Matthews said. “Jimmy Sandy has transitioned from [News-Talk sister] WLW and is the new local morning show producer for Brooke and Jubal on Kiss 107. He’s dedicated to making that show sound awesome, and we will continue to utilize his strengths as a producer in other places throughout the cluster.”

• Hang on… there’s more — Kristie Kay moves up from nights to fill the vacant afternoon drive shift, and inbound for nights, please welcome Josh Martinez, who literally hit the ground running — just last week arrived in Dayton from the PD post at iHeartMedia Top 40 KOSY (Y95-7)/Cedar Rapids, IA to program Top 40 sister WCHD (Channel 99.9) and Country WYDB (B94.5). Matthews said, “Josh will be going back and forth, but he’s excited to come down and meet everyone.” He added, “I’m thrilled about this evolution, and excited to take Kiss 107 to new levels in 2017.”
