• Shamrock Communications’ Alternative WFUZ (ALT 92.1)/Wilkes Barre-Scranton, PA is looking for a new Program Director as Phil “PK” Kukawinski announced his impending exit at the end of this week for a swell new gig TBA. PK joined WFUZ in May 2017, coming from the APD/MD/midday spot at Bell Media Alternative CIMX (89X)/Windsor-Detroit.

Promotions Director Mark Hoover has been named interim PD of WFUZ as the search for a permanent successor gets underway. The qualified candidate will have excellent talent development skills along with the vision to implement new, fresh, creative ideas to our Alternative station. Applicants should have prior programming experience and be aware of the trends in the format and industry.

The successful candidate must also possess a passion to be on-air and on the streets to meet listeners, advertisers AND people of influence in our community as a means to help increase awareness of the station and build audience numbers. As the new PD of ALT 92.1, you will work hand-in-hand with sales to create promotions that support the station’s growth and benefit our advertisers through our on-air and digital platforms.
