Randi West Held Over @ WMTX/Tampa

• We want to send our best wishes to Randi West, PD/midday personality on iHeartMedia Hot AC WMTX (Mix 100.7)/Tampa, who just inked a sweet contract extension.

West has been with the station since April of 2011, when she transferred from the PD post at sister WDCG (G105)/Raleigh. She was promoted to PD in April 2015.

West announced the big news on Facebook, as she posted, “I did a thing today. Signed up for some more years at #ihearttampabay. Normally this wouldn’t be a BIG deal, but with this new deal marks the longest I’ve ever worked in a market in my adult career. You see, in the radio business part of the allure was the excitement of new chapters, new places and new adventures every so many years. There is still work that is undone here, so I’ll need to be here to see it thru. Cheers to more chapters in the book of #thatradiolife.”
