Scotty Kay Drives San Diego Home On KSON

• RAMP has confirmed that Audacy air personality Scotty Kay is making his West Coast debut as he assumes command of afternoon drive on heritage Country 103.7 KSON/San Diego. Kay succeeds market legend Kimo Jensen, who earlier this year announced his impending retirement after more than three decades with the station and intention to relocate to Italy with his wife, Shannon.

KSON becomes Kay’s latest Country affiliate, alongside his regular afternoon drive gig on WUSN (US99)/Chicago, as well as mornings on KMNB (102.9 The Wolf)/Minneapolis and his nationally syndicated Sunday show.

Kay shared his excitement in a Monday Instagram post that reads, “San Diego… I can’t wait to laugh with you every afternoon starting Monday on 103.7 KSON! I know I have some big shoes to fill following the amazing Kimo, and I’m incredibly honored to join such a talented, passionate team at such a legendary station.”
