Todd Exits Omaha; Oakes Interim OM

RAMP has learned that Mark Todd has exited as OM of SummitMedia’s Omaha group and PD of KQCH (Channel 94.1) after 11 years. In the interim, SummitMedia has installed veteran programmer Tom Oakes into the OM role on an interim basis. Oakes just wrapped up similar stints for SummitMedia Country outlets KTTS/Springfield, MO and WCYQ (Q100.3)/Knoxville, TN.

Todd has been in the Omaha market since 2002, starting as VP of Programming for Waitt Radio Networks (now Westwood One) and NRG Media before joining Journal Broadcast Group in 2008, and later transitioning through the ownership changes to Scripps and SummitMedia. Before that he served three years with Bill Richards Radio Consulting and RateTheMusic.com. Todd’s earlier programming stops include the late KKLQ (Q106)/San Diego and five years at the helm of Top 40 KRQQ/Tucson in the mid-’90s. Todd can now be contacted at 402-578-6115 and/or marktodd2@cox.net.
