Keep The Hallway Clear For Letty

• There’s been a marked increase in activity in the hallways of the Meruelo Media broadcast complex in beautiful downtown Burbank, as Letty Peniche, co-host of Power Mornings with Letty & Teddy on KPWR (Power 106) has been doing double duty since last Wednesday as she’s also been graciously covering afternoon drive for the vacationing Melissa Rios over on Latin Pop sister KLLI (Cali 93.9) through today. This crossover event between two Los Angeles radio stations in drive time represents an unprecedented series of shows between formats and languages in Los Angeles.

“The Dodgers and Angels have their ‘Freeway Series’ — we have our own ‘Hallway Series,'” said Haz Montana, Meruelo Media VP of Audio Brands. He added, “We thought a scooter or shoes with wheels would expedite the long 53-second walk from the Power 106 studio to the Cali 93.9 studio, but Letty’s got this — she’s a supermom and a super jock, so she’s showing us how to juggle family and work.”

Letty commented, “My ‘cool’ points with my tias and tios went up just by covering a few days on Cali 93.9. I love Power 106 music and Cali 93.9 music, so I’m having so much fun tapping in to both sides of who I am.” She added, “Shout out to all the people who work two jobs and play mommy, daddy or both. I’m glad I can be a part of their entertainment on two stations in L.A. while my supermom and super jock friend Melissa Rios is off for a few vacation days.”

In recognition of working moms with two jobs, Letty will be giving away Disneyland Family 4-packs to callers who have the best “side hustle” stories, wrapping up her Cali 93.9 shows later today.
