•  iHeartphotosssMedia Urban AC WVAZ (V103)/Chicago has tapped longtime market vets Troi Tyler and Ramonski Luv (pictured) fill the large and legendary shoes once filled by Chicago radio icon Herb Kent, “The Cool Gent,” a fixture on Chicago radio for 70 years until his death on Oct. 22 at the age of 88. Ms. Tyler, who had been Kent’s primary fill-in, will take over as permanent host of The Saturday Morning Wake-Up Club every Saturday from 8am-noon, and Luv will now assume fulltime command of Herb’s Place Sundays from noon-7pm. •  iHeartMedia Country WBWL (101.7 The Bull)/Boston performs a delicate airshift shuffle, as PD/afternoon personality Lance Houston swaps shifts with evening entertainer Colton Bradford. As Houston explained to RAMP, “Colton has proved to be a vibrant, engaging personality in the Boston radio market, and I’m so excited that he will be able to showcase his talents in afternoon drive!” Bradford has been with The Bull since May of 2015, when he made the neck-snapping market leap from WKSJ/Mobile, AL.
