Capitol Congress In Session
Capitol Music Group (CMG) Chairman & CEO Steve Barnett hosted the company’s Annual Capitol Congress on Wednesday, August 9 at the Arclight Theatre in Hollywood, during which CMG’s roster of superstar and developing artists presented their forthcoming projects to company and entertainment industry reps from around the world, as well as consumer and trade media. Also in attendance were Universal Music Group Chairman & CEO Sir Lucian Grainge and an array of CMG artists including Sam Smith, Beck, Halsey, Niall Horan, Lil Yachty and others.
Later that evening, back at the storied Capitol Tower, the label threw a massive party that began inside the legendary Studio A and extended out into the parking lot, where hundreds of guests gathered to sample the wares provided by a fleet of food trucks. And wouldn’t you know that we would stumble into a gaggle of influential CBS Radio programmers, perfectly situated for a RAMP photo op!
