Morning Pros On The Loose

• COVID-19-related cuts have come to Go Media Alternative KQGO (GO 96.3)/Minneapolis, resulting in the unfortunate exit of morning guys Ben Holsen & Dana Wessel after five years. No word yet on what PD Christy Taylor will do by way of replacement in morning drive.

Holsen got his first taste of professional radio while still in high school in scenic Sioux Falls, SD, working at KRRO, KTWB and KELO. Since arriving in the Twin Cities he’s also worked at KSTP (KS95), KXXR (93X), Love 105 and 105 The Ticket.

Wessel previously plied his on-air wares in the market at KFXN (KFAN 100.3), KSTP-AM and the former KTWN. Holsen said, “This was our first time working together and I had a blast. I’m grateful to the Pohlad family for the opportunity in the first place and their generosity on the way out.”
