• iHeartMedia Country WMAD (96.3 Star Country)/Madison, WI is doing something big and fun today — loudly celebrating the world-premiere of Cole Swindell‘s new Warner Music Nashville single, “Break Up In The End,” perfectly timed to Swindell’s Madison concert stop tonight — the station is rebranding as 96.3 COLE Country for the day.
Swindell will call into the station from backstage at the Alliant Energy Center Coliseum to officially premiere his new song and talk with personality Matt Gapske about his big day in Madison. As a special bonus, 96.3 COLE Country will play “Break Up In The End” at the top of every hour all day, beginning at 7am.
“In the 13 years of 96.3 Star Country’s history, we have never done what we are doing today,” said PD Katie Kruz. “When I found out Cole’s first single, ‘Break Up In The End’ off the new album was dropping the day he’s going to be here in Madison, I knew we needed to celebrate in a big way and the entire radio station wanted to support him. Welcome to 96.3 COLE Country — it’s going to be a fun day.”
96.3 COLE Country will also host an official Cole Swindell concert pre-party at the Harvest Lounge at “a local Sheraton Hotel” from 5-7pm today. Listeners will have a chance to win meet-and-greets with Cole Swindell, Lauren Alaina and Chris Janson as well as last-chance tickets to tonight’s show.
