Morgan Bohannon, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus Media Memphis, said, “Lou has the experience to be uniquely qualified as the next leader of the No. 1 Urban AC in Memphis. We could not be happier to have him joining the Cumulus Memphis team. He’ll be a great addition.” Memphis Operations Manager Danni Bruns commented, “We are exhilarated to have Lou as our newest team member at Cumulus Memphis. WRBO was built on Soul just like our unique city, and Lou has the exact Soul we need to keep 103.5 WRBO a powerhouse on the air, as well as in the community. I look forward to watching him grow WRBO’s ratings and plant his feet in The Bluff City.”
Bennett said, “I am beyond thrilled to join the Cumulus Memphis family! After meeting with the amazing down-to-earth staff, I already feel right at home. I’m grateful to Morgan Bohannon, Danni Bruns, VP/Urban Formats Ken Johnson, VP of Programming Operations John Dimick, and EVP of Content & Programming Mike McVay, for not only the opportunity to program such a great station as WRBO/Memphis, but also for the opportunity to work with these amazing programming minds to continue moving this unique brand forward and growing the audience. I can’t wait to get started!”
