Nick Fox Joins Westwood One Country
• Westwood One has hired Nick Fox as Country Program Director for the company’s 24/7 Formats. In this new role, Fox will be based in Denver and oversee day-to-day operations of delivering 24/7 programming to Westwood One Country affiliates. He will also manage on-air talent while supervising music databases and support current and potential 24/7 affiliates.
Fox spent the past year working for Cumulus Media in Pensacola, FL as PD of Country WXBM (NASH FM 102.7) and afternoon personality on AC WMEZ. He previously served as APD/morning co-host spot at Saga Country WVVR (Beaver 100.3)/Clarksville, TN. He also worked at Cumulus Top 40 WABD/Mobile, AL, and he started his career at WABD’s predessesor, the late, legendary WABB/Mobile.
Fox now reports to George King, VP/GM Network Formats, who said, “We’re very excited to welcome Nick Fox to the Westwood One 24/7 Formats family.
