Upgrade Day At KXL/Portland
• Alpha Media News-Talk KXL (FM News 101)/Portland, OR announces the promotion of three existing news team members and an addition of a major market veteran — the action begins with the promotion of Jim Ferretti from Assistant News Director to KXL News Director.
That news is followed by the announcement that Brett Reckamp, KXL’s AM/PM Drive News and Traffic Reporter has been tapped as the new co-anchor of Portland’s Morning News, joined by co-anchor Veronica Carter, former news anchor and reporter with WBBM and WGN/Chicago and most recently, iHeartMedia West Coast Regional News Director. Completing this personnel puzzle, Jeremy Scott has been elevated into Reckamp’s old slot as full-time AM/PM Drive Traffic Reporter. And there you have it.
