Upgrade City At Vox AM/FM

• Those two cakes in the break room at Vox AM/FM, LLC’s Burlington, VT-Plattsburgh, NY are a dead giveaway that some major staff promotions are underway — upon closer examination, Vox AM/FM Partner & Market Manager Ken Barlow confirms our theory, and announces the promotion of Dave Goddette to VP of Sales/Director of Sales for the cluster, and current Operations Manager John Mullett is upped to VP of Operations/Station Manager.

Goddette (left) is a 20-year company veteran and current Sales Manager for Hot AC WEZF (Star 92.9), Sports-Talk duo WCPV (101.3 The Game) and WEAV (105.9/960 The Zone) and Classic Hits 92.1 WVTK. In his newly enhanced position Goddette will now oversee all aspects of revenue generation and sales personnel for the cluster, which also includes Top 40 WXXX (95 Triple X), Oldies/Variety WXZO (96.7 MeTVfm) and News-Talk 96.3/620 WVMT.

Mullett (right) will now oversee all programming, promotion, technical and business functions for the cluster. A Vermont native, Mullett joined Vox AM/FM last June after 15 months as Director of Programming for Northwest Digital and Wireless Triple A WNCS (The Point)/Burlington, VT and the nine-signal Point Radio Network that covers Northern Vermont. He previously worked in Boston as MD/Marketing Director for Beasley Alternative WBOS (ALT 92.9) and Marketing Director of Northeast Broadcasting Triple A WXRV (92.5 The River).

Barlow remarked, “We’re pleased that two such longtime and talented broadcasters can be promoted from within. They will make a terrific team to bring Vox AM/FM to a whole new level. Everyone in our building is excited about these changes!”
