The highly anticipated Entercom/CBS Radio marriage has already generated reams of official looking paperwork. This latest voluminous batch of documents (including the popular FCC Form 314) includes this Appendix A: “Divestiture Trust Applications,” which outlines a list of radio stations from both companies that may possibly end up in the Entercom Divestiture Trust… or maybe not.
Here are the Entercom stations earmarked as potentially bound for the Entercom Divestiture Trust — Los Angeles: Classic Rock KSWD (100.3 The Sound) and its booster, KSWD-FM2. • San Francisco: Throwback KRBQ (Q102) and booster KRBQ-FM2/San Francisco; Urban AC KBLX, Sports KGMZ (95.7 The Game) and booster KGMZ-FM1/Walnut Creek; AC KOIT and booster KOIT-FM3/Martinez; and Classic Rock KUFX (98.5 K-Fox)/San Jose and its boosters: KUFX-FM2/Morgan Hill and KUFX-FM3/Pleasanton. • Boston: Rock WAAF, Urban AC WKAF (The New 97.7), News-Talk WRKO and Sports duo WEEI-AM & FM. • Sacramento: Active Rock KRXQ, Top 40 KUDL (106.5 The End), Alternative KKDO (Radio 94.7), Classic Rock KSEG (96.9 The Eagle) and Sports-Talk KIFM-AM. • Seattle: Rock KISW, Country KKWF (100.7 The Wolf), Classic Hip Hop KHTP (Hot 103.7); Alternative KNDD (107.7 The End) and translators K277AE/Seattle and K281AD/Olympia, WA. • San Diego: Country KSOQ/Escondido (North County) • Wilkes Barre-Scranton: Country WGGI (Froggy 101).
The CBS Radio stations possibly earmarked for the Trust include — Los Angeles: Adult Hits KCBS-FM (93.1 Jack FM) • Boston: News WBZ-AM, Top 40 WODS (103.3 AMP Radio) and Hot AC WBMX (Mix 104.1); • San Francisco: Alternative KITS (Live 105); Hot AC KLLC (Alice @ 97.3); Top 40 KMVQ (99.7 NOW!); News-Talk KCBS-AM & KFRC-FM; Indian Talk KZDG-AM (Radio Zindagi). • Sacramento: Rhythmic KSFM; Hot AC KZZO (NOW 100.5); AC KYMX (Mix 96); Country KNCI and Sports KHTK-AM; • Seattle: Country KMPS, Classic Rock KZOK, Adult Hits KJAQ (96.5 Jack FM) and Sports KFNQ-AM. The trustee of the Trust is TDC Communications, LLC, whose sole member is Elliot Evers, Managing Director of MVP Capital in San Francisco.
