Wake Up In San Antonio!

• Cox Media Group VP of Programming Steve Smith checked in to let us know of a prime morning co-host opportunity that just became available at CMG Country KCYY (Y100)/San Antonio, as Christi Brooks, Director of Branding & Programming, explains to RAMP, “‘Big Joe‘ Pesh has decided to go back home to Michigan to care for his ailing mother and grandmother. His last day is Sept. 24. We are looking for someone that wants to be a part of our great community in San Antonio, is great on social and a team player.” That new team player will plug in across from Y100 veteran Beth Chandler.

Pesh (pictured) joined Y100 in May 2020 after a six-year run in mornings on Radio One Top 40 WNOW (Radio Now 100.9)/Indianapolis. Pesh previously did mornings on Midwest Communications’ Top 40 WSTO (Hot 96)/Evansville, IN and earlier in his career enjoyed a seven-year run with Cumulus Country WTNR/Grand Rapids, MI.
