Carlota Takes Middays At 98 Rock/Sacramento
• For the first time in more than three decades, Audacy Mainstream Rock KRXQ (98 Rock)/Sacramento has a new midday personality, as the station welcomes format veteran Carlota back to Northern California to do 10am-3pm, starting Monday, Oct. 25. She succeeds market legend Pat Martin, who, after 33 years in middays on 98 Rock, crossed the hall in July to take over mornings on Classic Rock sister KSEG (96.9 The Eagle).
“Carlota is one of the most passionate and dedicated true rock fans in our business,” said Stacey Kauffman, RVP/Market Manager, Audacy Sacramento. “Her love and enthusiasm for both the music and the lifestyle explodes through the radio and makes that special connection with her audience that is increasingly rare these days. I’m so excited to welcome Carlota to our team.”
Carlota most recently spent more than 22 years on-air at Lotus Active Rock KOMP 92.3/Las Vegas. “After hanging out on the ‘beach’ for the last year working on my tan, I’m super excited to get back to work and back to Northern California where it all began, when I was a baby DJ in Fresno,” said Carlota. “98 Rock is a legendary rock station and I’m thrilled to be joining the Audacy family.”
