Radio One Columbus ‘Nailz’ Down Marc Dixon
• Radio One has acquired the talents of Marc “Nailz” Dixon as APD and midday personality for WCKX (Power 107.5/106.3)/Columbus, OH, starting Monday, Nov. 8.
Nailz heads north from comparatively sunny Orlando, where he was most recently afternoon drive talent and social media pro at Cox Media Group Top 40 WPYO (Power 95.3). He was also doing weekends on CMG Urban Power 106.1 (WJGL-HD2)/Jacksonville and Urban WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami.
Dixon actually started his radio career at WPYO as an intern and worked his way up to hosting the station’s No. 1 night show. His ratings success there earned him a promotion to nights at sister station, WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami. In October 2016, Nailz returned to Power 95.3 as morning host and later moved to afternoon drive.
When introducing Nailz, Colby “Colb” Tyner, Radio One Corporate VP of Programming, said, “Nailz is smart, creative and open to expanding his programming knowledge.
