A Brand New Morning Mix: Priscilla & Joey
• iHeartMedia Hot AC KMXP (Mix 96.9)/Phoenix is counting down to the debut of its newly reconfigured morning show — The Priscilla and Joey Show launches Feb. 3.
The station’s previous wake-up show, Mathew & Priscilla ended its 10-year run in December with the departure of Mathew Blades, necessitating the need to locate a new co-host to team up with Priscilla Ornelas. As it turns out, the perfect candidate was already in the building — say good morning to Joey Bradfisch, a 12-year iHeart Phoenix vet who was conveniently located right across the hall at KZZP (104.7 Kiss FM) as Executive Producer of the syndicated Johnjay and Rich Show.
“I knew as soon as Joey auditioned, that was it,” said Ornelas. “It was the beginning of something amazing! I couldn’t be more excited to build this morning show with Joey. I also couldn’t be more thankful for the support and guidance of our KMXP team. We’re ready to light things up and bring a completely new energy to Mix 96.9.”
