McVay & Fram To Be Honored
The Innovation in Music Awards will be honoring industry pros Mike McVay and Leslie Fram during this inaugural event on June 6 at the Westin Hotel in Nashville. McVay (left), EVP of Content & Programming for Cumulus Media and Westwood One will be the recipient of the Heritage Award in Innovation, and Fram (right), SVP of Music Strategy at Country Music Television (CMT) will receive the Innovation in National Media Award. The Heritage Award in Innovation will recognize Mike McVay as “a music-industry professional who has committed his entire career for identifying groundbreaking initiatives and discovering new talent.” The Innovation in National Media Award recognizes Leslie Fram as “a trailblazer in exposing new music on a national level, such as her work with Next Women of Country and the digital series Concrete Country.”

They were the first two phone calls for our inaugural show. Nominations for awards are being accepted and reviewed by the IMA selection committee. Nominations can be submitted using the Innovation Music Awards online Nomination Form.
