Bonaduce Returns To KZOK Monday
• Good news — after nearly two months off the air battling a mystery illness, Danny Bonaduce is returning to his rightful morning show spot on iHeartMedia Classic Rock KZOK/Seattle Monday morning. On Sunday, Bonaduce broke the big news when he tweeted, “Great news — I’ll be back live on the radio this Monday. Can’t wait. My brain is still a little fuzzy but that’s never stopped me — or the people who hire me.”
Bonaduce, 62, who has done mornings on KZOK since 2011 has been out of action since early May, when he announced he was “taking a temporary medical leave” from his radio show to seek medical help. “I’ll share more when I know more,” he posted at the time. “I’m still working towards receiving a diagnosis. What I know is, I need time to focus on my health. I love my job and talking to you guys & I’ll be back on the air soon.”
Bonaduce is also scheduled to appear on ABC’s Good Morning America on Monday to share his story. And speaking of which… Bonaduce’s wife Amy posted a frantic 14-second video to Twitter, accompanied by these comments: “Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes you pick up your house faster than when Good Morning America is sending a crew.”
