Beasley Tampa Taps deCastro As Market Mgr

• Major market radio executive Ron deCastro has been named Market Manager of Beasley Media Group’s Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg radio properties – Rhythmic WLLD (WiLD 94.1), Country 99.5 WQYK, Classic Hits WRBQ (Q105), Classic Rock WPBB (98.7 The Shark), Latin Pop WYUU (92.5 Maxima), and Business/Talk 1010 WHFS-AM.

deCastro is a 30-plus-year radio veteran who was most recently Market President & Chief Revenue Officer at MediaCo’s WQHT (Hot 97) and WBLS/New York until a year ago. He previously spent five years as President & Chief Revenue Officer at Townsquare Media Talk powerhouse WKXW (New Jersey 101.5)/Trenton, NJ. Earlier in his career deCastro led sales teams at CBS Radio New York, Clear Channel Philadelphia and New York, and Barnstable Broadcasting on Long Island.
