BruteHawke Acquires HardDrive Radio

• After nearly three decades of delivering epic, hard-rockin’ nightly, weekly, and online radio content, HardDrive Radio now forges a new chapter in its legendary history — the show’s longtime host, Lou Brutus (left), and Programming & Content Director, Randy Hawke (right), have acquired the iconic brand from its longstanding partners, United Stations Media Networks/Gemini XIII. The acquisition coincides with the launch of BruteHawke Industries, the new parent company formed by Brutus and Hawke.

It was concurrently announced that BruteHawke Industries has forged a strategic sales and distribution partnership with USMN/Gemini XIII, specifically designed to enhance the strengths of both organizations.

“The new partnership is perfect. It allows all of us to focus on what we do best,” said Brutus, who, along with HardDrive Radio were inducted into the Rock Radio Hall of Fame in 2017. “We will continue to crush the world with loud music and the finest rock star interviews known to mankind, as well as lay waste to what little hearing I have left.”

“This marks a new chapter of collaboration, aimed at strengthening the HardDrive brands,” said Hawke, who is also the longtime VP of Content for Mid-West Family Broadcasting in Madison, WI. “We are dedicated to maintaining the high standards our affiliates expect, while exploring new ways to enhance our offerings and services.”

As part of the acquisition, BruteHawke Industries has secured the extensive archives of audio, video, and photos from the HardDrive Radio vault, encompassing thousands of hours of content, promising enhanced and enriched future offerings. This all adds up to even more dynamic programming for its dedicated audience, while maintaining the high standards and seamless delivery that affiliates have come to rely on.
