Create Acquires deadmau5 Catalog
• Create Music Group (CMG) has acquired the catalogs of creative visionary, electronic music producer, deadmau5, as well as that of his record label, mau5trap.
The deal, which is valued at over $55 million, involves the sound recordings and copyrights of more than 4,000 songs in total, and also encompasses the formation of a joint venture to release future recordings by deadmau5 and from mau5trap.
