Jenny V Circles Back To Middays

• There’s been some internal movement at Hubbard Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix)/Chicago, as APD “Jenny V” Valliere unplugs from her pm drive co-host spot and moves back to her former midday shift. That daypart was previously occupied by Lisa Allen, who exited last month during a round of restructuring.

Jenny V shared her news via Instagram, as she posted, “After three incredible years of afternoons with @mccabeonair, I have stepped into a new chapter — and a new/old time slot! You can now catch me weekdays from 10am to 2pm on The Mix where I’ve got some BIG shoes to fill.”

It was in April 2022 when the on-air lineup on WTMX was originally “re-Mixed,” and Valliere moved up from middays to afternoon drive as co-host of the new Afternoon MIX with McCabe & Jenny, paired with Casey McCabe, who arrived from Los Angeles after stints with KROQ and former Audacy Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP).

Jenny’s post continued, “I hope you’ll hang with me during your workday — and don’t worry, you can still catch McCabe on your drive home. And yes, he’ll always be a Bobo Head in my book… I get to remind him every single day when I leave the studio and he takes over!”
