Dave Randall Ready To Unplug
• After an extraordinary career spanning more than four decades, beloved Southern California radio personality Dave Randall announced his impending retirement, effective at the end of July.
Randall currently works for Cumulus Oxnard-Ventura, where he does mornings on Classic Hits 103.3 KRUZ and afternoons on AC sibling 95.1 KBBY, but he’s probably best known for his 20-year run on Classic Hits KRTH (K-Earth 101)/Los Angeles.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Randall got his foot in the radio door at Cal State Long Beach University’s KSUL-FM and an internship at KNX/Los Angeles. He went on to work at KLON/Long Beach, KWLT & KKYY/San Diego, KCAQ (Q105)/Oxnard and K-Earth 101 before joining Cumulus Ventura in Sept. 2016.
